The Chicago White Sox are back, and are ready to take another stride towards the World Series. Southsiders unite, and get ready to enjoy the return of the kings of Chicago in 2007. If you're headed to US Cellular Field for a White Sox game, you'll want to read our "Fan's Guide to the Game" below.
If you're on the South side of Chicago during baseball season, you'll want to stop by US Cellular Field for a game. New Comisky Park, renamed US Cellular Field in 2003, opened on April 18, 1991. Directly across the street from old Comisky Park. The new park includes an exploding scoreboard, an old-time facade complete with arches and over 40,000 seats with unobstructed views.
True Chicago White Sox fans will appreciate the retired numbers on display including Nellie Fox (2), Luke Appling (4), Minnie Minoso (9), Luis Aparicio (11), Ted Lyons (16), Billy Pierce (19), Carlton Fisk (72) and the White Sox Hall of Fame, located on the main concourse behind home plate. Of course the 2006 World Series Championship banner is a nice addition to the ball park too!
For Great food and fine spirits at a nominal charge, sit in the two-tiered, open-air section of the Bullpen Sports Bar near Gate 2 of the ballpark. Keep in mind, you must be 21 to enter.
There's plenty of fun for all ages inside the stadium. Test your arm at the Speed Pitch Machine near Sections 164 and 526 by Gate 3. Kids get free baseball instruction, provided by Gatorade, also near Gate 3. Instruction includes access to clinics, batting cages, pitching areas, a speed pitch machine and more. This area is open until one-and-a-half hours into the game.

Chicago White Sox Ticket Refund Information
- PlatinumTickets.com is only able to provide refunds for games that have been cancelled. If the Chicago White Sox game is postponed or rescheduled, we are unable to provide a refund.
- If the Chicago White Sox game for which you have purchased tickets has been cancelled, you will have 14 days from the date of cancellation to contact our office for a refund of your money (minus the shipping costs).
