With some work done to the line-up in the off-season, Texas is set to take on the AL West in '07. If you're headed out to catch a Rangers game at Ameriquest Field, you'll want to catch our "Fan's Guide to the Game" below.
Top off a fun filled day at Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park with a game next-door at Ameriquest Field. Walking in, you might think someone moved America's favorite pastime to England, but don't let the colonial exterior fool you, this is arguably one of the greatest baseball venues in the Major Leagues.
On your way in, head up Nolan Ryan Expressway and check out the red brick Ranger's Walk of Fame. The Walk of Fame includes information about each team in franchise history, all conveniently place before your feet.
For more history inside, check out the baseball museum and children's learning center.
Need to shop? You'll want to visit the 4-story cajun themed office building in center field. The first story is dedicated to retail shops and ticket windows.
Once you're settled in your seats, the feeling of the old parks really starts to set in. The double-deck right field bleachers, complete with steele pillars and arched accents, is reminiscent of the home run porch at old Tiger Stadium. The massive billboards along the top of the stadium add to the windscreen to keep out stiff breezes and seem accent the feeling of yesteryear.
There's not a bad seat in the house. Due to its horseshoe shaped design, all seats are angled towards home plate. Whether you're in the bleachers with plenty of sun, fresh air and beer or behind the plate looking out at one of the most spectacular backdrops in modern baseball, you're sure to enjoy your stay at Ameriquest Field.
So grab some friends family or co-workers and get out to one of the most beautiful parks in the league to root the Texas Rangers on to victory today!
